Terms & conditions.
The terms that apply to this site, the waitlist, and the founding-member credit. Plain language on purpose.
Effective 23 October 2026 · Tickitin, Inc.
These terms are an agreement between you and Tickitin, Inc. ("Tickitin", "we", "us") covering tickitin.com and the waitlist it offers. By using the site or joining the waitlist you accept them. The Tickitin app is not yet available; when it launches, using it will be governed by separate terms that we'll show you before you use it.
1. The site
The site describes a product we are building and lets you register interest. Descriptions of features, cities, partners and timing are our current plans, not promises. They may change before launch, and some may not ship.
2. Joining the waitlist
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must give us an email address you control and may use. One place per person; we may merge or remove duplicate entries.
- Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to Tickitin, access by any date, or access in any particular city. We decide when and where to open, and may invite people in stages.
- By joining you agree to receive a welcome email and occasional emails about launch. You can stop them at any time by writing to [email protected], which also removes you from the list.
3. The founding-member credit
We're offering US $20 in Tickitin credit to the first one thousand people on the waitlist (the "first thousand") as a thank-you for being early. The details:
- Who qualifies. The first one thousand distinct email addresses to join, counted in the order we receive them, including addresses added to the list through a member's group seats. We'll confirm whether you're in the first thousand at launch.
- How it works. The credit is placed in the Tickitin account you create at launch using the same email address. It can be applied, in whole or in parts, toward bookings made through Tickitin in the city or cities where we operate at the time.
- When it expires. Ninety days after we notify you that Tickitin has launched and your credit is available. Unused credit lapses after that.
- What it isn't. It has no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, sold or combined with another promotion unless we say so, and it does not cover third-party fees, taxes or gratuities unless we say so.
- Our discretion. We may withhold, reduce or revoke the credit where an entry is duplicated, automated, fraudulent, or otherwise breaks these terms, and we may change or withdraw the program if we are unable to launch. Where law requires, we'll honour credit already promised to you.
4. Group seats
If you add friends' email addresses so we can hold seats for them, you confirm that you have their permission to share their addresses with us and that they would expect to hear from us about the seat. We may contact them once about it. We may remove addresses that appear to have been added without permission, and anyone we contact can ask us to delete their address at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- sign up with addresses you don't control, or use scripts, bots, or other automated means to join the waitlist or interact with the site;
- attempt to bypass the site's anti-abuse measures, probe or disrupt its infrastructure, or access data that isn't yours;
- copy, scrape or republish the site's content, design, film or code beyond what's needed to view it, or use our name, logo or marks without written permission;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
We may remove waitlist entries, block access, or take other reasonable steps if we believe these terms have been broken.
6. Our content and your feedback
The site, its text, design, images, film and underlying code belong to Tickitin or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to view the site. If you send us ideas or feedback, you agree we may use them without obligation to you.
7. Third-party services
The site uses services from other companies, including YouTube for our film and Cloudflare for bot protection. Their terms apply when you use them. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we aren't responsible for their content or practices.
8. Privacy
How we handle your information is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. No warranties
The site and waitlist are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that Tickitin will launch on any schedule.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Tickitin and its officers, directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or the waitlist. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or the waitlist is limited to US $20. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Tickitin against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site, including adding another person's address without their permission.
12. Changes and termination
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and for meaningful changes we'll email the waitlist. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or close the waitlist or the site at any time, and you may leave the waitlist at any time by emailing us.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits consumer rights you have under the law of the place you live that cannot be waived by agreement.
14. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. These terms and the privacy policy are the entire agreement between us about the site and waitlist. You may not assign them; we may assign them to a successor.
